Not everyone earns their diploma the traditional way. And that's OK. Although completing high school is the best way to go, it just doesn't work out for everybody. Fortunately, there is a way to get back on track: passing the GED Exam.
Once a person passes the GED Exam, the State of South Carolina issues him or her a High School Equivalency Diploma. This diploma is every bit as good as the traditional high school diploma and is accepted by colleges and employers everywhere. All kinds of exciting life opportunities are waiting out there for GED graduates. All you have to do is pass the GED Exam.
That's where we come in. Our staff and volunteer teachers work one-on-one with students of all ages to get ready for the GED. We accept new students every day and students are welcome to come and study with us anytime we're open. In 2007, 178 students went through our GED Prep program, passed the GED Exam, and earned their High School Equivalency Diplomas. Most of those graduates went on to continue their education at Greenville Technical College. Many experienced an improved employment situation almost immediately.
If you are interested in enrolling as a
